INCOFIS supports Letur
In a gesture of solidarity, INCOFIS has donated 1,500 euros to help the recovery of the town of Letur and support its residents, as it was one of the places hardest hit by the DANA storm that struck eastern Spain.
Letur: a historic town devastated
Located in the Sierra del Segura, in the province of Albacete, Letur is known for its medieval charm and its impressive old town, declared a Historic-Artistic Site. This picturesque town, with its narrow, steep streets, white houses and rich history, was severely affected when heavy rain caused floods that damaged essential infrastructure, homes and historic buildings.
The effects of the DANA have been devastating for the local population, affecting basic services, homes and the livelihoods of many families who now face the difficult task of rebuilding their lives and their community.
Commitment to the community’s recovery
“At INCOFIS we firmly believe in the importance of supporting communities in times of need, especially when they face natural disasters of this magnitude,” said the managing director of INCOFIS. “This donation reflects our commitment to society and our wish to contribute to the recovery of the towns most affected by the DANA.”
The funds donated will go directly to helping the people of Letur, meeting the most urgent needs identified by the local authorities to help residents return to normal life.
A step towards normality
This initiative joins the efforts of many organisations, companies and individuals who have shown their solidarity with the areas affected by the DANA. Recovery will be a long process, but every contribution brings these communities one step closer to normality.
INCOFIS calls on other companies and organisations to join these solidarity initiatives and contribute, as far as they can, to rebuilding the affected areas.
INCOFIS reaffirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility and will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the well-being of society and the development of communities in difficulty.
